Everything’s going great. Thanks so much for thinking of me! I’m working and doing therapy and going out and trying to have adventures. I went home a few weeks ago and reconnected with my estranged father. I fixed that door that always was so hard to get all the way closed. I also repaired a portal in my home.

I’m visiting my home town this weekend. I haven’t been there in about 15 years. I was thinking about it and worrying I would be an outsider. Then I got all indignant at the fictional people ostracizing me. It’s my home town. Mine. MINE!!! I grew up there and I have memories of there. Those memories serve as a property deed of the soul.
Then I was thinking about how we feel all obsessive and loving toward celebrities. How people allow themselves to feel personal affront when celebrities fuck up. How people chase them for autographs and such. The general feeling of owedness and ownership.
I think these two phenomena (I’m sure there are others) are the same thing.
